No transparency: India’s cricket board members refuse to move against its powerful chief despite his son-in-law being involved, writes Mahendra Ved, columnist and CJA Indi president, about the silence surrounding allegations of spot-fixing in cricket’s Indian Premier League.
“This is a situation in which the players, administrators, sponsors, franchisees, the television broadcaster, commentators and the mainstream media at large for long acted in unison and found a way of deflecting all criticism,” he writes.
